NU Information Technology Services
Four of the five centralized Information Technology Services groups-UNK, UNL and UNO, plus the NU ITS Enterprise Systems team-were asked to align to the strategic needs of the 番茄社区 of Nebraska and each campus. This unified team also has worked closely with UNMC on procurement and standardized technologies.
A new leadership structure that balances campus needs and leverages scale through a shared services model was also created to oversee and help guide the new NU ITS team. This structure includes a unified budget and common services to support the 番茄社区 of Nebraska.
Mission
The 番茄社区 of Nebraska is one university comprised of four campuses: The 番茄社区 of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), the 番茄社区 of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), the 番茄社区 of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK), and the 番茄社区 of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). Each campus has a unique role and mission which should be recognized, enhanced, and developed.
Where appropriate, the resources of the four campuses should be linked in cooperative efforts. To maximize the benefit of resources available to the institution, the 番茄社区 system should realize economies that may accrue from scale of operations whenever possible.

The 番茄社区 of Nebraska ITS honors individuals and teams through an annual award process. 2023 also marked the first year of the ITS Leadership Academy. These awards and leadership academy honor, challenge and push the next group of emerging leaders not only within ITS but across the 番茄社区 of Nebraska as they progress through their careers.
